Let's introduce...
Gerard Bobeldijk
My name is Gerard Bobeldijk and I will join the SCM team of Expertum as a SAP MM/SCM Consultant.
I have 30 years of SAP consulting and implementation experiences holding various roles: consultant, business analyst and stream lead. My career started as an internal functional consultant and was involved in the implementation of SAP systems as assistant for the modules MM, FI, CO, PP and HR. To date, I have been involved in many full fresh SAP implementation cycles as functional MM consultant and have undergone 5 global template roll-outs in the European, Asian Pacific, North Asian, South American and US regions. I possess working knowledge of the end-to-end logistics processes with detailed product knowledge in Materials Management (IM – Inventory Management & PUR – Purchasing), Purchase to Pay and Consumption Based Planning.
From my first interviews with Expertum colleagues, I was enthusiastic about the company, its expertise, small-scale operation, and dedication. The placement opportunities are extensive, which led to an opportunity to join the Staatsolie project in Suriname. The opportunities offered for further development in, for example, S4 and Ariba also convinced me of the right move.
Sven Withagen
My name is Sven Withagen and I will be joining the Innovation & Development team as a Development Consultant in the Netherlands.
I graduated at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Tilburg with an associate degree (2-year study) for Software development. After graduating I started working for Creetion in the SAP consultancy as a junior developer where I did work for Gasunie for about a year working mostly with SAPUI5. After this year I returned internally to Creetion where I started working with ABAP. In 2025 I was let go for a lack of available work and had to look for a new job.
I was introduced to Expertum through Shaerp while looking for work. After the pleasant conversations and getting to know more information about Expertum and the expertise of the people working here, I came to the conclusion that it would be a good fit to continue my journey in the SAP world.
Sjors van Sprundel
My name is Sjors van Sprundel, Integration Consultant, and I will be joining the Integration team at Expertum.
At my previous employer, I originally joined a SAP masterclass to become a functional consultant. However, I leaned more towards integration and took the opportunity to pursue a consultancy role in that area. Even though my previous employer is a SAP house, Boomi is used as the integration platform. Over the last four years, I’ve familiarized myself with the platform and assisted various customers in realizing their integration needs.
Over the past six months, I developed a personal desire to look for a new employer. After pleasant conversations with Sjoerd, and later also with Petra, I concluded that we can be of great value to each other. There is strong internal expertise I can learn from, and likewise, my previous experience can help the organization and our customers grow.
Doortje van den Bergen
My name is Doortje and I will be joining the Innovation team as a Development Consultant.
Before joining Expertum, I worked as an ABAP trainee at Partners in Technology via iTrainee. Via this company I worked as a junior ABAP developer for Asics. After my contract at PIT, I went on a small side quest to discover a more creative career path as a UX/UI designer. I however missed my colleagues and a technical challenge, and hence decided to come back to Expertum. In my future role I will not only focus on backend development. I also aim to improve my expertise regarding frontend development which has more of a creative aspect as well.
What I like about Expertum is the nice informal atmosphere, and the drive to help each other become better consultants. In the innovation team specifically, I have several colleagues, like Ted and Sjors that are already experienced in frontend development and from whom I can learn a lot.
